Events capture a particular moment: a gathering, conflict, competition, expedition or milestone. Record what happened and connect it to the people and places involved.
Start with the event template. Give a date or an honest estimate, describe the sequence, credit participants and separate the immediate outcome from later consequences.
For contested events, attribute the accounts and explain what remains uncertain. Keep moderation allegations in the appropriate reporting channels. The archive can document permitted rivalry without becoming a place to target real people.
