Golden SMP is semi-anarchy. PvP, raiding, stealing, and griefing are allowed. Cheats, exploits, and lag machines are not.
By entering survival, you understand that other players may raid, steal from, destroy, or attack you within the server rules.
Use common sense.
AFK, autoclickers and freecam are allowed. KillAura, reach, fly, speed, ESP/X-ray, unfair-advantage macros, packet-based cheats, and similar modifications are prohibited.
No crash clients, packet exploits, DDoS attacks, bot attacks, intentionally destructive lag machines, malicious NBT/book exploits, or attempts to compromise the backend.
No doxxing, swatting, credible real-world threats, account theft, phishing, malware, or exposing another player's private information.
Do not use alts, Bedrock/Java account switching, VPNs, or other methods specifically to evade an active ban.
Griefing, raiding, stealing, PvP, spawn killing, traps, betrayal, scamming with in-game items, base hunting, teaming, backstabbing, destroying bases and looting dead players are allowed.
Trust carefully. Clan membership, a teleport request or a friendly conversation does not guarantee your safety.
Use /report <player|server> <reason> to report a rule violation or a server issue. Include what happened and enough detail for staff to investigate. Allowed raiding or PvP alone is not a rule violation.
You may ask staff to investigate the cause of a grief. Staff may use server logs to determine what happened. Intervention or restoration is reserved for rule violations or server issues.
For an appeal, visit Discord and include the case or punishment reference shown to you. Do not put private evidence or accusations into community wiki articles.
The current rules are also available in-game with /rules. These pages describe server play; the contribution guide explains how to write and source wiki articles.
