A settlement is a location; a specific structure within it is a build. A battle or opening ceremony is an event; a period encompassing several events is history. A story told about any of them belongs in lore, with a clear attribution.
Begin with one page when a subject is small. Add separate linked records when each has enough information to stand on its own.
Use a clear title, a short description and the correct collection path. Remove all template instructions, avoid invented dates, and check permissions for images and private information. Read the contribution guide for sourcing and editing standards.
