Clans give a group a shared identity on Golden SMP. They bring together allies, builders and rivals, while the community archive records what those groups do over time.
A clan does not make a base safe from raiding or griefing. The server rules still apply to everyone.
Start with /clan for the available commands. A clan leader can invite you. Use /clan accept when an invitation is waiting: one pending invitation is accepted directly; several invitations produce a choice so you can pick the right group.
The clan help also lists membership and chat commands available to you. Leadership controls remain with the clan's leader.
The current leader can open /clan color to choose the clan's style. The picker includes 27 base colors, vote-unlocked styles and a separate collection of party legendaries. Locked previews let you see what your clan can work toward.
Clan identity appears alongside players in chat and other player displays. Some effects look different between Java and Bedrock. Read voting and rewards for how styles are earned and retained.
A clan leader can publish a short lore announcement:
/clan lore <message> to preview a message of up to 160 characters./clan lore confirm within 60 seconds. The cooldown is six hours. The in-game bar lasts 25 seconds; /clan lore toggle changes whether you see these bars. Lore posts tell a story and do not automatically declare wars or change gameplay rules.
Start a page with the clan template. Record the founding, public members, projects and major events. Date membership lists so former members are not mistaken for current ones. Describe rival accounts fairly and link the evidence behind them.
